I would argue that what we need most now are courageous people who will speak up and expose the rich and powerful … that is if we want to save our Republic.
Some of our forefathers were likely greedy but many had the future of the Republic uppermost in their hearts and minds!
I would respectfully disagree with your assessment of our brilliant, but flawed Founding Fathers. It is not wise nor accurate to paint them all with the full brush stroke of greedy colonists, etc.
While the treatment by our govt of the indigenous American Indian is horrible - our children have not been taught the amazing story of Squanto, among others, nor have we been taught about the Separatists aboard the Mayflower pilgrimage. I believe much has been left out both good & bad. Revisionist history is appalling, but, so was the fact that we lost over $58,000 in a worthless VietNam war except for the War is BIG Business crowd.
